The pre-primary section mainly comprises of the 2 to 4 yrs aged children, consisting of classes Infant, Nursery and Upper Nursery. As these are the formative years of a child, children in this section are taught through the play way method (Montessori Method). Their classes are mostly activity based and are divided into English development, number work, picture reading, storytelling, art & craft, games etc.
Different festivals, colour days, social awareness days (Vanmahotsav day, earth day etc) helps the child to develop his psychomotor skills and broaden the knowledge base of the young learner to "learn by doing".
Every Child loves to hear stories. Thus story telling classes are a major attraction among these children. They weave a world of fantasy when they hear stories. All classes have a story corner where the teacher or child enters the enclosure and narrates a story.
Children love to play games. Games gives a child immense joy. Simple warm up exercises or playing with a ball not only improves the skeletal system but also enhances the hand and eye co-ordination. Thus for the wholesome development of a child, games are a must.
